March 1, 2013 - More Drama!

I doubt Larry or Lucy would allow a Juvie in the nest this close to possible eggs. They must have been over the hill or just out of sight. Both videos are courtesy of Lainey Rickey on Youtube.

Larry and ??? ~ It wasn't Lucy! This is strange to see that Larry would even consider another adult bald eagle to perch that close with the possibility for Lucy to lay eggs. Maybe if Lucy was in the nest we would have seen more of an attack by Larry. He just gave the other eagle a wing slap and fluffed himself up to make himself look bigger than he is. It is presumed to be a female that perched with him, but there is no way to confirm 100%.
