June 28, 2012 - No Eaglet Around Yesterday!

We are going to call it the "Official Fledge Day." Several of us visited the nest site yesterday with no sightings of the eaglet that went down the day before. Both parents were at the nest and vocal, probably telling the other one it's time to go too. We will make another visit today and give a thorough walk through again. I wish we had more information. However, we are happy we did not find anything and the most reasonable explanation is the eaglet flew from its location on June 26th.
